Item Description

Superb and stunning vase designed by Bengt Orup for Johansfors, Sweden, 1950s–1960s, hand-blown clear glass in elongated teardrop or gourd form with prominent vertical ribs, fire-polished rim and ground base, 7-5/8" tall, with the original "Johansfors, Sweden" foil label.

A beautifully preserved example from this foremost Swedish designer (1916–1996).

Notes: In very fine condition, with no cracks, chips, scratches, or haze
