On the Medrax Platform (the “Platform” or (“we”, “us” or “our”)), operated by Softmedline Ltd, a company registered in Bulgaria, UIC 206556529, available on the Internet at, one of our main priorities is the protection of the personal data of our visitors. This privacy policy document outlines the types of information that is collected and recorded by the Medrax platform and how we use it.

This Privacy Policy applies only to our online activities and applies to visitors to the Platform with respect to the information they share and/or collect on the Platform. This policy is not applicable to information collected offline or through channels other than the Platform.

By using the Platform, you agree to our Privacy Policy and accept its terms. We process your personal data on the basis of your consent expressed by registering on the platform or using its services. You may voluntarily download, use and give personal data to the Platform.

What data we process

The personal information you are required to provide is related to the provision of services by the Platform.

If you contact us directly, we may obtain additional information about you, such as your name, email address, phone number, the content of any message and/or attachments you may send us, and any other information you choose to provide.

When you sign up for an account, we may request contact information for you, including items such as your name, company name, address, email address and phone number, or an account on a social networking site such as Google, Facebook or LinkedIn.

You may choose to enter into the Platform a variety of health and medical data such as symptoms, vital signs, body temperature, blood pressure, heart rate, respiratory rate, blood sugar, health problems, treatments and medications, written or video information (messages, videos) that you exchange with service providers.

We do not store any credit or debit card information. This information is maintained and payments are processed by a third party payment service provider in accordance with payment card industry security standards.

All your data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted using Secure Socket Layers (SSL) cryptographic protocol technology.

How we use your information

The Platform and its service providers do not act as joint controllers or processors authorised by the controller. The Platform and the service providers are data controllers acting independently for their own data processing in connection with this contract. The Platform accepts no liability for any breach of applicable law by the providers.

The Platform is not responsible for the data provided by user or service provider and their processing in 3-rd party service providers, which are used, for example, for communication between users, including but not limited to email providers, chat messages, audio and video calls, etc.

Log files

The platform follows a standard procedure for using log files. These files collect information about visitors when they visit websites. All hosting companies do this and it is part of the analysis of hosting services. The information collected from the log files includes Internet Protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time, referring/exit pages and possibly number of clicks. They are not linked to any personally identifiable information. The purpose of the information is to analyze trends, administer the site, track user movement around the site, and gather demographic information.

Cookies and Web Beacons

Like any other website, the platform uses cookies. These cookies are used to store information, including visitor preferences and which pages of the website the visitor has accessed or visited. The information is used to optimize the user experience by customizing the content of our web pages based on the visitor’s browser type and/or other information.

Advertising partners privacy policies

Third parties – ad servers or ad networks – use technologies such as cookies, JavaScript or Web Beacons , which are used in their respective advertisements and links that appear on the Platform and that are sent directly to the user’s browser. Note that the Platform has no access to or control over these cookies, which are used by third-party advertisers.

If you believe that your child has provided this type of information to the Platform, we strongly encourage you to contact us immediately and we will make every effort to promptly remove this information from our records.

It is possible for the guardian or custodial parent to use the platform for the purpose of obtaining counselling or an assessment for their child. In this case, the child’s data is processed on the basis of the consent given by the guardian/parent exercising parental control.
