Insofar as the Platform only acts as an intermediary to suppliers and the information and services on the Platform are provided free of charge to customers, we are not liable for any loss or damage of any nature.
The Platform contains information about medical providers and other professionals and gives clients access to content covering both medical and non-medical topics. No medical services are provided through the Platform and no medical activities are carried out within the meaning of the Health Act, the Medical Institutions Act and other health care regulations. We are neither a medical service provider nor a healthcare facility and do not provide healthcare activities. The medical and/or non-medical assessments and advice you receive are provided by providers who act as independent experts and are not dependent on us (or the company behind it) in any way.
Our services are provided through a Platform allowing medical and other professionals (providers) to interact with clients to provide clients with remote medical and non-medical assessments and consultations online based on health history and information that clients provide to providers.
By registering on the Platform, customers agree to receive commercial communications from both the platform and its partners. Customers can withdraw their consent at any time by deleting their account and discontinuing use of the services offered by the Platform.
You send a description of your problem along with files of your choice – photos, test results and other important files and receive a response from a supplier (uploaded via the Platform) within 2 to 72 hours. The response contains information about your condition (or your animal’s condition) along with advice. If, during the consultation, the doctor decides that you need any medication, he or she may prescribe that medication. If you have not already done so when you registered, we will ask you to fill in your name and age. Depending on local regulations, this information is needed to create a valid prescription.
On the Platform you can find the price list for the providers’ services. By requesting a consultation with a provider, clients accept the prices for their services. Clients pay for providers’ services through the Platform, but do not pay any fees on the Platform itself.
You understand that the services offered by providers may qualify as medical services and are performed remotely and without face-to-face contact or physical examination. You understand that the rules of Chapter Four of the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) do not apply to these services by virtue of Art. 46 para. 1(1) of the Consumer Protection Act.
You understand that the consultation and eventual diagnosis is carried out remotely, with the associated consequences and risks. Professionals will make every effort to provide a quality, timely and complete service, consultation and possible diagnosis, yet you are advised and acknowledge that there is a risk of misdiagnosis of your condition when diagnosed remotely. You are also advised that the services offered by the Specialists are not a substitute for a face-to-face consultation with your GP or specialist.
You understand that it is your responsibility to monitor your condition and to seek medical attention if complications arise and to seek the appropriate specialists if necessary.
You agree that in the course of the consultation you may be provided with additional information about your diagnosis, treatment, the diagnostic and treatment methods used, their alternatives, risks (if any), expected results, and the same will be deemed accepted unless you expressly disagree.
We hope you find these services useful. Please use them responsibly.
